have you heard of the Default Case for the iPhone 4? it looks similar to this, but has a mesh type design, and it is not clear plastic. It only costs 1 penny.

Not a fan of this case by incase but HUGE FAN of their laptop backpacks. i have a studio xps 16 dell laptop and a black backpack. awesome piece of design... again i find this case too simply and honestly fugly.

Update...according to Appadvice, the ipod touch has already begun to ship. This is exciting news, please post your unboxing and camera test as soon as you get it, I imagine you will get yours before I do. Can't believe how giddy I got hearing it's coming early, I am such a geek, lol

I decided to orde the new ipod touch today and return the iphone. I am willing to give up 3g internet, gps, and the slighlty better camera to save $980 over the next two years. Strange, Apple says it ships in one week, butndelivery date with overnight comes the 13th, which is 11 days from today, I hope it comes sooner.

Funny if they are selling out already though, they never make enough of anything.  Like they didn't know this would be an iphone killer since there is no monnthly data needed for it.

@kockgunner I have no scratches on the glass and perhaps a light scratch on the stainless steel bezel. You are seeing scratches on both front and back panels?

@DetroitBORG Yeah, I am seeing many many scratches. Even more than my 3GS screen that I've had for a year. Also there is a deep gouge on the worst of all places.... the Apple logo. I really don't have any idea how this happened. Believe me, I baby my products (I know it's cliche in the Apple product realm, but I really take care of my products since I'm a student and I pay for everything myself).

So you have 3 new ipods to buy after today, although I don't know who would want the crap nano now, they removed the camera and video playing, I don't know why. And the new touch doesn't have the 5 megapixel camera, so I don't believe the hd video claims

@johnmonk66 I've ordered an example of each iPod and hope to have them by Friday next week (next day delivery). The nano surprised me, but it makes sense considering the changing MP3 player market. The primary use case for the nano had been for the gym, while most people were off buying Touches or iPhones as full featured devices. The nano never really became the Flip replacement that Apple pushed because everybody has a mobile phone anyway.

@lal123ish I'm not certain, but it appears they have not included the headphones with the remote control or mic. The Apple website actually suggests it as an accessory to purchase with your iPod Touch so that's not promising. The Apple website simply says that the Apple Headphones are included.

@monkeyape456 I explained it in the video, the large openings at the top and bottom and the fact that the case doesn't wrap over the screen which means it could pop off in an impact on the front glass.

@DetroitBORG yes i saw it and understand that. But a bumper case offers no protection at all to the back in case of a fall. So the fact that the other case might pop off during a fall doesn't necesarily make it a worse case, is my logic

@monkeyape456 I would argue that the protection around the edges is more critical, but you're absolutely right that there is a trade-off. And I should mention that I actually really like using this case and it has replaced the bumper on my iPhone for now.

Nice review, I currently have the switcheasy nude ( clear ) on my iPhone 4 and it is full of scratches, also the edges are sharp.

I got the smokey gray looking case & I actually love having it on my phone because it feels comfortable and looks really cool. Way better than the griffin case that I bought when I got my iPhone 4.

I have the smoky gray version of this case which looks 100x better, I highly recommend it over the clear version. It has a matte finish which prevents the fingerprints. It also doesn't have the flex problem that you demonstrated.

Great review. Scratching seems to be the biggest issue, for me, with clear i4 cases. I had one before I ordered the free case (Griffin Reveal Etch....LOVE it) and it scratched insanely easily. Also, it didnt have the flash ring, so the flash would light up the whole case and glare a bit when in use.

Do you think it'll be good, or should I get the 1080p Logitech AF webcam? I think if probably going to get the webcam, did you ever do a review of that? I watched your unboxing. Though.

@TheAppleReviewGuy Are you on a Mac or PC? Many webcams dont' work well with a Mac so you may have problems there. The Flip MinoHD is a great cam, but not good for this type of filming because it can't autofocus or shoot in macro. I would probably go for the Flip however if you are a Mac user.
