Well As You Said It's An Example, Since This Was A Tutorial For The Orb Alone I Was Just Using An Example So I Wasn't Going To Go All Out On The Text Or The Background ;)

How do you even make the freakin orb get blended like you did at 1:01?

Use The Liner Gradient Tool And On The Top It Shows A Couple Of Different Styles Of Gradient, Select The Radial Gradient And Just Go From Top-To-Bottom, Left-To-Right Or Vice-Versa :) But Make Sure You Have The Circular Selection ;)
