I remember the Teacher's strike, it was in 1985, and my mother wanted me to stay home to avoid crossing the picket lines.
It was pretty cool because my mother took my brother and I to the Science Centre, and the zoo. That was also the time that my cat got sick and we had to take him to the emergency vet.
It's great to see these openings because I grew up in Northern Alberta and wondered what the news openings looked like in other cities.
I liked it better when each city created their own news opening since they are different stations in different cities makes it more individual

That school is the one I used to go last year (St. Gabriel). Looks exactly the same as it does now.
