  • It's great to see these openings because I grew up in Northern Alberta and wondered what the news openings looked like in other cities.

I liked it better when each city created their own news opening since they are different stations in different cities makes it more individual

  • That school is the one I used to go last year (St. Gabriel). Looks exactly the same as it does now.

  • Tim Weber and entertainment reporter Jacintha Wesselingh were fired this week, along with roughly 100 other staff.

  • very cool. I love how the old Night Beat and World Beat themes and bumpers sounded like game show music.

  • Not to mention Tom G. Gibney was a game show host and Dave Devall was a game show voiceover.

  • Nice to see what Night Beat News looked like before I was born.

  • Wow. That set looks a whole lot bigger now that I've grown up.

  • Your great. I'm in New York. I use to live in Toronto and I still want to keep up with the highlights there. Maybe you can put on you tube the big news storys. Be great to see.

  • I remember the Teacher's strike, it was in 1985, and my mother wanted me to stay home to avoid crossing the picket lines.

It was pretty cool because my mother took my brother and I to the Science Centre, and the zoo. That was also the time that my cat got sick and we had to take him to the emergency vet.

  • Awesome!
