I'm a textbook bipolar on a manic upswing. Been on a plethora of antipsychotics and antidepressents ever since I was twelve. Lately, I've been using my medication to 'catch' me from crashing and level me out, and then go off them and use my mania as fuel for creativity and artistic endeavors. It's been working for me so far, but do you think this is a bad idea?
@lolsputnik I think this could be a bad idea because your mania may go way out of control one day and you may go into a manic psychosis and maybe end up in the hospital so please use your judgement and be careful...Raven
Was about to say that she won't acknowledge somethings is wrong with her. Also mother wont and they have been so hurtful and closed and treating and claiming that something is wrong with me even after I'm being away for a while these days. Her rage is getting worse....I studied on this or weeks to try to help her... and better understanding on this, but she refuse to admit and can get more harmful if I try...do you have any suggestions for me?
Oh my god...I married a bipolar woman for half a year and was managing her mood swings untill it got worse. And you are so right....but don't acknowledge something is wrong with and it's bad and sad equally... coz I can only save my self from being deported...Plus my mother in law is a shizofrenic and she hears whatever she wants and have that mother instinct to support her child in whatever my wife's faze...I will be divorcing soon as she wants...I swear I tired everything I could to my best...
If your wife was rational when she stated she wants a divorce this is something you both must consider together. However, if she is not on meds. it's most important she sees a psychiatrist and get stabilized. This may take time..Please try to be patient....Raven
I have bipolar type 1. I've had MANY of the symptoms you've listed. I've recently been put on a good medication that seems to stabilize my moods. I'm much more tolerable of things that used to bother me and I seem to have more energy and positive thoughts. However, mood swings still happen on a much more lower level and don't seem to last as long.
Hi thanks for the video, i have a question, i am 16 nearly 17 and i have recently started seeing a councilor about depression but the only thing i talk about with him is being depressed and i have not mentioned how i sometimes feel hyper. I dont know if im bipolar. I mainly feel down at times but occasionally i will just lose it, do you get what i am saying? sorry if its making no sense.
so basically my question is do bipolar sufferers, suffer from certain states like depression more than mania?
Not anymore ...I have short, violet hair. I'll do a vid. real soon. maybe in a week.
