  • can you do a tutorial on how to animate a make human but with Blender 2.5?

  • thumbs up if ya'll think that he sounds like Dr. Stephen Hawking! BTW, I now use a Makehuman version 6.0 alpha 1.0 but I have now idea how to export to blender 2.49. Please help!

  • @OmegaF77 , sorry not really up to speed on latest Makehuman versions , last I read about the alpha version is that the export buttons where non-functional and hot keys where the only way to export , try the makehuman documentation or FAQ

  • @OmegaF77 maybe download a new version of blender...

  • @OmegaF77

I don't know if you're still interested but you have to export them as "Collada" to use them in Blender 2.5x/2.6x. Also you can download Bvh files from the imternet. They contain mocap data (which is 3D motion captured data) from real human beings, so that you're animation looks super realistic.

  • Thumbs up if you think he sounds like cleveland from family guy

  • her her......boobs.....

  • Sounds like you just wanted to mess with the "mid-section".. MakeHuman allows you to remove the genitalia to a Barbie doll. You didn't need to add one.

  • this isn't microsoft sam, you can hear him saying "um, uh" and things like that, which suggests that this is a real voice talking!

  • MICROSOFT SAM!

  • BOOBIES

  • how did you make the model???

  • What is it with your voice. It sounds like a robot.

    Thanks for the tutorial btw

  • @dactnl that's Microsoft SAM, even stewie in Family guy makes a joke out of it

  • HE SOUNDS LIKE MICROSOFT SOUND WTF.

  • HE. SOUNDS LIKE MICROSOFT SOUND WTF.

  • Nice video bro (:

Well if you want to check out my blender 3d videos come to my channel and please subscribe (:

  • this isnt your real voice...

  • wow haha. I accidentaly hit 5:09 and he said "erase the nipples off of the model"

  • I clicked because there were boobies in the thumbnail.

  • shoulders r 2 wide 4 woman

  • @ScoopdaRoop

i think the shoulders are okay

  • 4:28 how u do that..

    plzzz i don't...

  • @neji000009 ; please ask your questions on the video page that you encounter errors , you have asked on just any video of mine and it leaves me not knowing what you are talking about.

from what you have said here your project has strayed far from any instructions in my tut's I would suggest for you to start again.

if you want a model with no rigging then export from makehuman as an object , an object can be imported to blender with a pose intact , try this series...

  • how do you join objects into one antoher object/mesh? like join the head to the body how do you?

  • @Danne5897 in object mode select the object you want to join , press Ctrl J

  • I have no fcking idea where the makehuman humans are saved to 0.0

    any help?

  • @ronstero ; make human should default to my documents/makehuman/ (object or colloda depending on the export type).

  • Even Steven hawking uses Blender and makehuman it seems.

  • I have a question. I was putting an armature to a mesh imported from MakeHuman and when I parent to armature the mesh changes a bit especially on its left side. Can't do hands as it gets very messy. It is to do with my armature not properly within the mesh?

  • @marikomiura ,that is strange, in my experience the parenting should not alter the mesh until you pose the rigging. the only thing I would expect to happen if the rigging was not in the mesh good would be bad weight assignments but no deformation until you posed the model. sorry this problem is outside of my experience.

  • Well, it could be blender 2.49b version. When I switch from edit mode to pose the left arm of the mesh slightly deforms even before any parenting. I keep trying with different mesh and experiment. Thanks for your time.

  • If I got it correct, first create the character in MakeHuman, and then animate it using for example 3d Max software, please? MakeHuman can animate the character by itself?

  • How did you drop her arms?

  • You are supposed to ask this to ArtER21.

  • wow he talks slow!

  • It kinda reminds you of Ben Stein, you know?

  • when i import mine there is no verticies or anything to select. please help me!

  • Hi gtafreak567 , sorry but I am not sure what you mean here , but am guessing that perhaps you may have some confusion as to which mode you are in ? I believe that after the import blender will be in object mode so you can only select objects ( the whole make human , camera , or light) to select individual vertices you need to select the make human object , then enter into edit mode.

  • Hello ArtER21,

How did you drop her arms?

  • One question? Why did you not use collada as your export format. That would have given you and armature that you could have started with in rigging the character. OBJ is good and give you the same body mesh. But I I can get and already made armature its quicker and easier for me. Just interested in why you did not do it that way?

  • I tried it out this way because of the pose of the model , the rigged export always came out with the model posed arms up in the air , just getting the arms down to a more natural position created a problem in the area of mesh deformation , getting a more natural deformation during something like a walk cycle is much more difficult with the model having a native pose of the collada export because the arms have to be bent and moved much further than the example I used in this series.

  • how to zoom in

  • with the scroll wheel

  • I have a laptop

  • no scroll line down the right side of the touchpad?

    google

"Blender 3D: Noob to Pro/Non-standard equipment"

to use blender on a laptop ( which would NOT be my suggestion) a usb mouse and number pad are needed to use all of the hotkey functions , some functions will not be accessible on a laptop with out these accessories.

the second hotkey for zoom is number pad delete

  • Thanks! You're an Angel, you know it:) I'm going to try what you've suggested! Wish me luck:)

  • Good Luck :-)

  • okay, thanks so much! I will try that for sure then:) I'm sure it will work.

  • if you have any problems you may want to look to the documentation / quick start guide found on the makehuman site, the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package , is needed to run makehuman, there is info / links on that in the guide. makehuman to blender 3d use requires python to be installed , the version of python needed is the one that the version of Blender was complied in, I think version 2.6.2 for the latest blender 3d (2.49a)

  • Comment removed

  • the version I used is 0.9.1 RC1 , it is on the bottom of the makehuman downloads page under older releases.

  • u a perv i bet you made your mom proud

  • How do you think they make women on your video games child? like your halo 3 or whatever, that holographic girl with the giant breasts...I would say the halo 3 people were perverted.

  • @Jacen47 You mean Cortana.

I have the strange urge to agree with you.

  • how can i install makehuman in Windows Xp?

  • Google MakeHuman and then do to the Download page. Next, download Version 0.9 that's the version you need. Downloading any of the other versions are highly experimental. It hasn't been perfected yet. From that point just install the software as usual.

  • How do you save the model as a WavFront Format?

  • the link on the page for the download don't work

  • WooHoo...I'm famous....

The version for those tutorials was 2.46 which you can see in my screencaps. Still, I am flattered you are using and referring to my work. Good Job!

  • the hot key's for 'snap to' are shift S

  • I' ve watched all your tuts.

    They are awesome.

I do have one question, how are you soing the snap to?

What is the hotkey for that function?
