i live in frankfurt and have visited both london and new york many times, for me london is a far more interesting city than new york although i do enjoy new york but london is more multi faceted.
@Reven1ion No! I walk past there every day but I haven't seen it. Remind me what I'm looking for. Is it a gigantic 1000 foot skyscraper? I must keep my eyes peeled.
@whitbyjet65 its actually above London Bridge Station. go to one of the thames bridges in the central part of London, and you won't miss it... unless your looking at your feet all the time heheh! can't even remember where Waterloo station is anyway ; )
@whitbyjet65 fyi, 'Reven1ion' made the comment a YEAR Ago!!! the building wasn't 1000ft then, nor is it still!! so NOW... obviously you cant miss it?!! dumbass sarcasm, hey!!
@belgicasken nah new york skyline sucks check out reviews no one likes it its all too many skyscrapers it makes it look deperate for popularity which everyone thinks it sucks check out the reviews before you speak
@belgicasken New york is better at first glance but london as a city keeps you interested a lot lot longer, you get to a point in new york where you've seen one street you've seen them all. London has a lot more depth of character and every street is different in terms of architecture. You have modern ancient there are more languages spoken in london than any other city in the world. It truely is the greatest city in the world. You're right though New York has got a lot of tall buildings
@FCMillwall81 I agree, I constantly argue in my head which city I like better- London or New York. I live very close to New York City and head in frequently. You mentioned about New York gets to a point where if you've seen one street, you've seen them all. Yes and no. I know what you're saying but that's more or less if you are merely walking around upper-midtown aimlessly. If you know where you are going in New York and what you want to see, you'll see the many diverse characters of the city.
umm, i think you'll find YoUR the Idiot, because most of the Heron Tower was built LAST YEAR... it was about 35 floors in October wen i came across it in Bishopsgate... and it reached 47floors only in the last month!
and no, it doesnt dwarf Tower42 moron! it just has a few more floors on it.
