I prefer the top gear lap time results and that's clearly in the GT-Rs favor. I wouldn't be comparing two cars that have different power to weight ratio based on speed as it doesn't make sense. If you want to appear like the smart kid that you claim to be, take the Z06 and see how the GT-R runs rings around it.

And 2) If you look carefully, the F458 pilot puts the Mannetino on CST OFF mode, which means no electronic aids at all, which if I remember correctly also means no Launch Control available, so I think the 458 started bad because it wasn't using LC.

I prefer the top gear lap time results and that's clearly in the GT-Rs favor. I wouldn't be comparing two cars that have different power to weight ratio based on speed as it doesn't make sense. If you want to appear like the smart kid that you claim to be, take the Z06 and see how the GT-R runs rings around it.

@altimgamr They were on stock tires, look it up anywhere because the 2012 Z06/ZR1 come with Michelin sport cup tires when ordered from the factory. Other cars such as the Porsche 911 and more use the same type of tires. The ZR1 has a better lap time than the GTR and they're both STOCK. @altimgamr It did beat the z06-I admitted that and it was the whole premise of my reply. Secondly, four seats...have you tried to sit in one? Like most four seat performance cars, they are unusable. Loaded interior? What does it have the zr1 doesn't? It has leather, power everything, nice sound system, onstar, nav screen etc. Better gas mileage? Maybe but it's within ONE mpg of the ZR1-BFD. The GTR is a nice car, but the ZR1 is as nice. The GTR only "wins" because of its all-weather ability.
