Sweet Home 3D also has no screen shot and it has be in Ubuntu for ever. In ALL this time NO ONE has sent in a screen shot ? Plus if Linux wants to go any where than they need more software... Most of the software is also showing it's age... The only software that looks good is Blender 3D they updated the UI , and it looks great .

Mate to be honest... I couldn't give a flying fuck what Canonical/Ubuntu does... I've criticised their work lot's of times on videos... I don't use Ubuntu and I think Mark shuttleworth makes retarded decisions for his Operating System. As for the screenshots in App directory... they work fine for me.. i've randomly opened about 20 apps and they all have screenshots that show up.... I use to feel the way you do and get frustrated with Canonical because they have done sloppy work and bad decisions over and over again.... I gave up on Ubuntu a long time ago mate and just accept that nobody is going to make LInux become mainstream unless it is somebody with the Resources of Google... @linux4unme i read both articles on cinamon before i saw this video,and the one you kept referring to was mere wishful thinking and annoying bias,but the one you was showing (zdnet) was reasonable and informative.the bottom line if you remember ,is that mint 12 and MGSE was a flop and an overhype,cinamon is a right move,as i've said earlier a DE cannot survive on workarounds/addons like MGSE,any extension could easily be rendered incompatible with a new gnome 3 release just like firefox addons

Cinnamon seems like a flat verison of KDE/Windows... To each his own, but I miss my simple Applications, Places, System menus :-). Can't say I quite understand the point of RazorQT. So its like cross between LXDE and KDE? All these DE options.. GNOME 2/MATE, Gnome-Shell, Unity, XFCE, KDE, LXDE, Enlightment, Openbox, and now Cinnamon and Razor.

Something you probably didn't know.

You can use the online software center to "activate" the "for sale" section in the real software center (useful if you are using Pinguy or Mint), and haven't already figured out how to enable that feature. Just go to the online software center and search for Braid or another paid software.

This will let Ubuntu softwarecenter "see" the paid section. So now when you click the "for sale" tab in the software center, you'll see all the software you can purchase.
