Always pull the bottem side of the handlebars forward so in this case 'steer right' Then stand next to the handles not the bike grab the bottom side (left side in this case) of the handlebars, bend knees, pull up and walk backwards next to the bike.

This is the enduro way. It cost the least energy/power.

Wrong bike for offroad. Many people have wrong priorities by putting power first. What matters first if weight (light) of the bike, which you need to be able to control as easily as a bicycle.

It's obvious the bike is too heavy as he cannot ride it standing but has to seat.

Why not use a Goldwing or an Harley?

What you need for easy offroad is 250-400 cc bike with heavy suspensions, high and thin frame and 100-115kg max...

my 2008 F650GS is quite good offroad and weighs 185kg.... Look up the R1200GS 'Adventure', that was used on an around-the-world off road journey and proved to be amazing. I know what you mean though, power isn't everything but these bikes aren't meant to be pure enduro bikes, they are meant to go long distances too. Pure off road bikes are useless on the road
