That fiddler and his band towards the end were playing Hungarian Gypsy melodies, one of my fave styles (along with Gypsy Jazz, Metal, and Flamenco). I hope Jimmy's hanging out with those guys 'cause he intends to mix it with his own playing. (He does state he wants to meet musicians from all over and Django travelled all over Europe picking up a little influence everywhere he went, one of the reasons this style is so unique).

Well i know jimmy he is a friend of mine. Such a lovely short showing true talent. The gypsy community has a wonderful and rich history, and are rarely credited for what they have contributed to dance and music - flamenco being one of them! To see them represented this way, is refreshing. I hope that other gypsy communities can learn from this and improve thier own way of life and help contribute to our global village instead of taking from it.
