Yes this brought back memories for me as a teenager and how Saturday night was a staple for watching the show, and yes had a huge crush on cruise director played by Lauren Tewes. I still remember seeing teen fan magazines at the time of the show, and whenever I saw a picture of Lauren thinking how hot she was. Always dreamed of taking a cruise and probably meeting her on board :)

Love the "Love Boat" Inspired the ordinary person that they could take a wonderful vacation. So I did. 19 years old, and just starting out, and on that first cruise was blessed to get my first marriage proposal ....and phone calls later from that....from a crew member....never married him, but has brought some wonderful memories to me, now that I am 50....and remember being 19. Would not change for anything those carefree days.

Lauren was my first crush when I was eight years old,she has changed quite a lot but she remains as sweet as she was back in the seventies,I will always be a loyal fan of hers and of the show

One of the greatest shows ever. I am very jealous of these actors. Can you imagine the fun filming and meeting all the stars they met. Lauren is awesome still today. I would love meeting her someday and letting her know.
