Looks sharp, sounds sharp - BUT....you have to admit that the Cabs Alumni snare line plays more rudiments in 2 minutes than this line plays in an entire show! And the guys in the alumni line are old enough to be these kids' granpappys!!
totally different styles, the competing corps plays a lot of notes that I would guess most of the alumni can not and they play a lot of notes that the competeting corps can not
both have total respect for each other's skills and passion
unless you have experienced this as part of the alumni or competing corps you really have no idea what it's like
Do they play any rudiments besides rim bangs, flat flams and a few 16th note warmups. . . and it's physically impossible for a GIRL to be a CABALLERO!
