  • where can i find a neodymium magnet ?

  • can u show me its full speed?

  • brillant motor design

  • so much fun to see people being mindless :D no no no it cant be horizontal because the video title says that it is :) retarded conspiracy theorists :)even the screw would indicate where "down" is.

"FAKE, water is clear jelly! <--- your brain is clear jelly, dumbass homo80 :D :D

And to M0vir - this principle is or at least was already used for generating DC (up to megaamperes apparently). But this particular implementation consumes power, it doesn't produce any :)

  • FAKE, water is clear jelly !

  • @kigahomo80

    You're retarded, aren't you?

  • Dude, I just figured out the jar of water thing. It's so people couldn't say its vertical and the camera is rotated.

    Takes a bow.

  • ehhhh why you were moving that bottle around? o.O

  • i just cant fathom how it is staying horizontal, because the magnetic force is the wrong way around. or is it. i just dont know anymore its not safe. RUN!

  • playing with magnets is really nice, eh? :)

  • very crafty

  • Maybe this could be the future power source? who knows?

  • Yah, really this would make drilling and digging in the earth ALOT faster and we could expiriment the earth a little more by drilling deeper.

  • If you tap it, it falls.

  • "IF" you tap.

  • That was cool when the flame came out, I just tried making a simple one but I'm using way too much current and I think it keeps welding. Have you tried a linear version of this for a magnet pistol?

  • with so many usefull applications you go and choose a gun... damn u

  • For self defense of course :-) and hunting deer.

  • wow

  • how do you get the water to stay on the bottom of the bottle when you hold it sideways like that?

  • Gravity.

  • Epic win!

  • that is the most weird question i have heard yet on YT

  • u noe i checked the video more than 10 times to see wat that guy meant...still i got no clue...i think he got confused how the Homopolar Motor was placed which made him look at the world in side ways...man wth m i saying...

still, i really hav no clue lol...can't believe i saw the vid 10 times jus to find out wat he asked!

  • dedication to the pursuit of sciene... or insane curiosity. :)

  • Wow, Homopolar? How does it do that?!

  • man!! you´r smart ppl :)

  • Not that smart: this trick (vertical version) was in the journal, 'Physics Education' a few months ago. The basic principle has been known for over 100 years, but was not so impressive until neodymium magnets became available.

  • too bad you didnt show the electric circuit,

is there a online version of that magazine 'Physics Education'?

there are so many 'Physics Education' pages... cant find the right one (if there is one)

  • There is no circuit worth drawing! Simply pass the current through the magnets. Go to the Institute of Physics website and look under 'journals'. All of the indexes/abstracts are free to look at, but one has to have a subscription to see the complete paper. OTOH, new papers are free-to-view for 30 days.
