Hammurabi believed he was decreed by the formerly believed gods that he was to give law unto the people, besides, his name isn't Hammurabi; it's Ammurapi and it's not called the 'sun god' he's called Shamash, which is used in my language for the word sun as 'shimshah' because during the Neo-Assyrian empire, the official language became Aramaic and mixed it with Akkadian.

why should I have to accept both stories when the Assyrians all together abandoned the Assyro-Babylonian woman at 256 A.D.? well if it'll make you feel better, my dad thinks the Bible is bs but still believes in God because everything is created by something, my Dad said that Moses took the 10 Commandment from 10 of Hammurabi 282 laws, and also it's a reference to how Moses was given these laws by God, the Bible is like a monotheistic version of Mesopotamian religion but with different plots.
