I disagree with President Carter on both Economic and Social issues, but I do agree that everything he did was based on his honest desire to do good ( though 'good' isn't the best term to describe his presidency.) He

It's really irritating people bash Carter so much. There's alot he stood for that people disagree with, but they cannot deny his rationale was always morally sound and well-intentioned. His honesty and commitment to public service should make people pause about bad mouthing him so much, but it doesn't. This precisely why we have so many problems with our politics these days. Our respect for eachother is repugnant.
