i must agree.....that sound comes thru the wire on youtube. & thats hard to replicate......reminds me of acoustic zeppelin........sounds great.....jimmy would approve
yeah it sounds amazing! what strings you using on it? have a 1981 5052 same bridge as yers' ... with old strings on mine its not as bright as yers' u must have lighter n newer strings on yers ungh?
mine seems more midrange toned as plays w/aged strings. check a clip out of mine' flynlulus channel thanks ps u still have yours? what'd u get for it? I pay'd $376+ shipping $40 for mine w/ Bil lawrence pick up n nice case.
I totally agree with everything you said. I just purchased the same guitar from the son of the original owner. He didn't play and kept it in the case for 25 years after his dad had a stroke in the early 80s. I got it for 200.00 in like new showroom condition. It is my fav now. It was still perfectly in tune.. Unreal I got to get it out. Thanks
hard to believe that these are all laminate models!

@jlbabb74 Try Phosphor Bronze 11-50 or 11-52 and maybe add bone pins and saddle and see what happens

wow. one of the best sounding guitars I've heard. Alvarez Yairi is the samurai sword of guitars.
