If i am correct ( can't find my guard codex ) A melta gun is an Assualt weapon so legally he could have assualted as well

@legionthantos I was Commenting on the Melta's but i don't remember him firing the lasguns at the particular target . I think the chimera lacking a turret did but not the dismounted infatry (FML if it's the same one ) so if he fired the lasguns no he coudln't but if he fired the Melta's he could personally i think a better plan for him would have been to Dismount , Fire Melta's ( he had 3 i think ) and then charging into an assualt so the officer with a power weapon could kill (p1

@legionthantos Post 2 ) ... And then charging into an assualt so that the offcier with a power weapon could kill at least one necron , so if all went well 4 could be dead before he got there then the swarm of rifle butts and bayounets would have taken therie toll...eventually

Necrons look fun to play and even interesting to play against but SCREW codex power creep man, its the largest downside to this game beside the cost, but at the cost I at least understand.

Models can't regroup within 6" of an enemy model, and a vehicle squadron can not split attacks in melee...

i might be wrong but at 38 seconds when he re-groups the heavy weapons teams, i thought you cant attempt to re-group if within 6in of an enemy model, (the overlord)
