ahhh...so refreshing. It's about time...The Saints are too inconsistent for me!!! Chris Paul made me smile last season, the only thing that bothered me is that he didn't take over in Game 7 against the Spurs. Thne we pick up a good defender in James Posey....Now we need to put Mo Pete on the bench and get a quality Shooting guard. He's way too inconsistent. What if Vince Carter wants out of New Jersey? Do yall think that would be a good pickup for us??? We can trade some draft picks.

Chris Paul is definitely this best Point Guard in the NBA by far. As for best player in my personal opinion I would've chosen him for the MVP over Kobe simply because Kobe has a better supporting cast.

Just because you don't watch him and you don't follow anybody besides the Lakers doesn't mean other people don't either. And besides he's a 3rd year guard he's just now getting recognized so no crap most people aren't going to have him in as a lead MVP vote getter early in the season.

Chris Paul is one of the best point guards I've ever seen and he deserved it way more then Kobe this year. CP3 plays with less talent around him and he doesn't need Pau Gasol to contend. They're the second youngest team in the NBA and look at what they are doing to the Spurs. Even if they end up losing this series its still amazing what they are doing and no amount of 50 point games Kobe has can contend with a guy who makes all his teamtes better. CP3 plays the game the right way.

This isn't the grammys dude, theres no lifetime achievement award in the NBA. It doesn't matter how long somebodys been good or what they've done in the past the MVP is a regular season award and it's given to the most valuable player on good team. And Chris Paul is playing like this THIS year so why shouldn't he have it this season. Your logic makes no sense to me.

Dude once again, "overdue" should not be in anybodys thinking process when it comes to voting who the MVP is. And to be completely honest with you, every year he didn't get it he did not desreve to win it. He was not as valuable to his squad as Dirk was last year, nor steve nash the two years before that, nor KG the year before that. So no he was not overdue because he never deserved it over those guys in the first place.

I just don't think that happened, guy. KG is the big dog in Boston, not Kobe, and you just won't see Bostonians cheering for anyone but KG this year.
Frankly, KG or Chris Paul were the only two players worthy of the MVP this year. Kobe's a good player, but this award doesn't go to the best individual in the league. If you replaced Kobe with a decent player the Lakers would still win. If you replaced KG or Paul. Well. You'd have the same terrible teams as last year.
