If you go to Filmthreat dott comm and put in the name Cliff Twemlow into their search engine, you can see my interview with the GBH star who played alongside him in GBH, Steve Powell.
Thanks so much for posting this, I live in America now and haven't seen it in years, one of my genuine all-time faves. I even interviewed a star of it. RIP Jerry Harris and Cliff Twemlow.
This is an absolute masterpiece of zero-budget cinema. I want- desperately- to see ALL of this man's films. They just don't make them like this anymore...
Nobody tells big Nick Rafferty he's had enough to drink !!!! He turned up in Coronation Street years later as one of Bet's lorry driver boyfriends.....
Had a video shop in the eighties, used to rent this out to people, loved waiting for their comments when they returned it,local gypsies used to come and rent it all the time!
@mistercarlton Yes, I am gradually posting the whole movie (I have already posted three more chapters) There is indeed a sequence in Eccles, it was filmed at the "RAINBOW ROOMS", now a bingo hall.
some trivia about Cliff Tremlow - Once had his skull fractured working as a nightclub bouncer.. appeared on TV claiming he would "catch" the Loch Ness Monster..
and composed more than 2000 musical compositions in his life time, including music that was used on The Sweeney.
from "Once" [71]
“Once I owned a mansion/ Money couldn’t buy / People used to stop and say / There goes quite a guy/ Now I’m left with nothing/ And I have no place to go/ For when you’re down/ Nobody wants to know”.
@mistofoles Yeah but that's what the gangster is saying to the club owner (Golden jacket) Then the club owner says something but I'm going insane trying to hear it.

Thank you for saving this classic for posterity.
Haven't seen it since 1985. Mind you, I must have watched it half a dozen times a week back then.

This film got me into hot water as a thirteen year old. Showed it to my parents. Not a good idea.

I love this. Not seen it for years. Please put more on as my father has passed away who played Keller, the baddie
celiaharris1 10 months ago
@celiaharris1 I'm very sorry to hear that. If you look through my uploads on my channel, you'll find several more chapters of "GBH" posted :)

Thanks so much. I wish I could get hold of that film. My Dad played Keller the baddie. He enjoyed doing that film so much with all his friends!

@celiaharris1 You can probably pick up a copy on e-bay, that's where I got it from.

I've just realised..isn't the dancer in the pink t-shirt the same guy who refuses to serve Donovan at the bar?

So back in the early 80s, the people of Manchester went clubbing in their P.E. kits? Very strange.
