  • I feel strangely sorry for Barry in this sketch- the well-meaning simpleton.

  • this really is dark shit! incredible!

  • oh my fucking god!!!

"I dont think I could afford that much again"

when was this made?! why are there no whole eps on utube? how could something be darker than "its all about ryan", why am i crying as Im laughing?

so many questions so few answers

  • even if i came up with something as good as that, I'm not sure how I would go about writing it down, asking other people to be in it and then film it.

  • It makes me want to vomit when I watch it, but when I walk away it's as if I've just spent a whole week laughing. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME

  • That was darker than a black hole in a well-sealed lead-lined box buried in soft peat for three months.

  • I haven't watched something so perfect in my entire life.

  • Brilliant

  • Easy to forget that Amelia Bulimore used to be a Corrie regular.

  • absolute genius! I do UK sketch humour but its nothing when put side by side with Morris. I think that was a shamless plug mixed with self degradation...hmmm

  • hahahahahaha kevin eldon

  • Oh my good God! I just ate my own fist out of shere shock!

    Morris, you legend!

  • Gyaaah. Jam makes me feel like I'm watching a comedy version of Eraserhead, or something. Just...perfect at making me feel really uncomfortable.

  • This video stopped loading for me temporarily at 1:49.

It was all the more funnier as a result, as I was allowed to laugh.

  • HAHAHAHAH!!

  • was not expecting... that...

    5'd

  • The notes accompanying the show refer to an abortion, as does the report explaining why complaints were upheld. And I have a right to uphold morality, although I cannot compel women to comply.

  • @ReciprocalZeugma

    Cool story bro.

  • @ReciprocalZeugma First off, there's nothing in this clip to confirm it's an abortion, in fact the initial tone suggests a mis-carriage. Secondly, I don't think in milliion years you could possibly say what a woman or women can and cannot do. Nothing you have EVER done or will ever do could even come close to granting you that kind of right.

  • @ReciprocalZeugma Call me stupid but...WTF is a wrap of charlie and where can i get some?

  • @jkpaschal Charlie= slang for Cocaine. The comment was stating that government and society are twisted by condemning drug use while they allow people to abort living creatures.

  • fucking brilliant - I love a good abortion joke

  • Just shut the fuck up, and enjoy the movie. Fact is, women have the same rights as men, and thoroughly deserve it. We would (or wouldn't be) fucked without them.

Anyone who degrades or says that women are inferior to men, is a fucktard, and needs a slap. Or to actually have had a woman, and to appreciate her.

  • Total Fucking Agony. Genius.

  • God I love Chris Morris, one of the true comedy geniuses. Mind you after watching Jam I do always find the need to stare at pictures of kittens for a good 5 minutes, but still nevertheless comedy gold.

  • Wow, gingergiblet- what an insightful comment...or perhaps as you demonstrably have between 2-3 braincells, you should NOT be allowed to exercise freedom of speech.

I am a bloke (not one of your cave-dwelling types), one that has been exposed to education. And you were being sexist. i.e prejudiced against woman.

I was at the Edinburgh festival this year as a stand up and the male to female perforance ratio was 40/60..can you work out that that means?

  • I love how the coffin has a handle so they can carry it around with them

  • oh fuck that was great

  • Brilliant

  • Morris proving yet again hes better than us

  • i think i've just been pwned.

  • Hilarious sketch. The thing is they never actually say its an abortion/miscarriage ... it could just have been a budgie or something, its our own minds that jump to conclusions.

  • well no, they constantly refer to the events that took place... so yes, it was a baby

  • of course it was, who gives a fuk lol its funny

  • muhahahaaa that was wrong

  • 'I just thought I ought to take a special interest seeing as I....well...seing as I was mine.' :D HA!

One of the best Dead Baby jokes I've heard :D.

    Fantastic Stetches.

  • That's just about the most fucked up thing I've ever seen....

  • You haven't seen Plumber Baby from the same series.

  • I just looked it up! *shudders*

  • nice, eh? you should try the 'Timmy' sketches in Monkey Dust.

  • i don't think i could afford that much again.. haaa... but overall i think this sketch is kind of wrong....

  • Blue Jam on Radio 1 and Jam on Channel 4 were genius.Very dark but satirical of too-polite middle class types so terrified of being seen in a bad light, they would undergo all kinds of perversity and weirdness.Extending the sketch show to it's logical conclusion, this was never bettered.Everyone involved took a new path after this finished.Check out Cook'd and Bomb'd on google.

  • Strangely enough, I seem to be English. Perhaps you are some kind of moron after all...

  • Been there, done that.

  • Moron.

  • jesus...what a downer...

  • perfection

  • Dark Gold.

  • Guy paid friends wife to have sex with him, got her pregnant, woman has miscarriage (I assume) and the guy makes a coffin for the body.

  • I love how it is left ambiguous whether it is total social ineptness or a genius revenge...

  • jam is fucking funnny. but maybe this one crossed the line slightly.....dunno

  • Poor bar-wait it was his!?

  • What episode again?

  • You might have a point

  • Fuck you.

  • If their was fake laughing recorded at the end I bet most dumb cows would laugh. But like you say mate they aint got a clue.

  • Holy jesus in heaven you complete fucking idiot. You will not get on with that ridiculous attitude. My girlfriend is a big Chris Morris fan and recommended I watch this, she also bought me the dvd for Christmas. You are a complete moron. Get back to FHM and television X. NO self respecting woman would touch you with a barge pole. Fucking scum bag.

  • I think there is a way to say that without sounding sexist ; extend the word 'women' to 'women who read the daily mail' and your comment is spot on!

  • Oh, I see, gingergiblet - you're making sexist comments, but you aren't actually being sexist because you said that you're "not being sexist". Nice of you to clear that up for me, otherwise I would have thought that your sexism was just sexism. Now I see that your sexism isn't sexist at all. Thanks for that.

  • Wow, you've opened my eyes, I am a disgusting sexist.

I wasn't being sexist for the sake of being sexist, that's really what I meant. I don't say this out of any prejudice for women, just commenting on frequent observations.

Sorry for being honest about my observations, maybe I should just stop exercising freedom of speech.

  • You can be honest about what you think and so will I. I don't see how me calling your comments sexist is an attack on your freedom of speech.

  • There is no room for your type in modern day society. You are a complete ignoramus. I think people like you should be rallied up and shipped off to a special island. Where you can all enjoy being thick together.

  • @signiourlizardo So just because your GF likes it, as done my own GF, does that make my point invalid, that MOST girls do not have a refined sense of humour and would prefer to watch Little Britain "I want that one *canned laughter" humour rather than Brass Eye?

No it doesn't, and I don't read FHM or television X, I read private eye and only watch TV when there is a worthwhile documentary on.

  • @gingergiblet So if you're not getting your idea of girls from the ones you actually know, where are you getting that from? TV? Internet? Because we all know those are SUCH reliable sources for information. Sigh.

  • @beckyinnam dsffsdf

  • @beckyinnam

Show me the female equivalent of Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Doug Stanhope, Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock...

And not Catherine Fucking Tate. Or that fat cunt who does that other shit show.

The only comedy which was even remotely good (but still, pretty shit) which was created by women was smack the pony.

Studies have shown that Humour is linked to testosterone. Google it.

I know 2 girls who like 'Risque' humour. Every other girl I tell a sick joke to starts a fucking civil rights mo

  • @gingergiblet Sweetheart, there was this little thing called oppression of women. We've been having to battle through thousands of years of oppression and you think that in what, fifty years or so, we should have cultivated the same kind of range as men? That inequality still exists now, and is blatantly present in things like the gender pay difference. Sorry, but pointing out that men have been encouraged, supported and socially accepted to do comedy and so they have is not a fantastic argument

  • @beckyinnam

    Typical feminazi bullshit!

You know when the suffragettes were getting their panties in a twist about not having the vote?

Men were being drafted out of their homes and sent to war! That's right! The battle of somme - 420,000 men dead on the British front after being forced out of their homes!!!

Oh, but women didn't have the vote... Such terrible oppression!

Men and women DO have equal rights, the wage gap is a proven myth. Men and women are biologically different, simple.

  • @gingergiblet The internet is full of idiots like you. Because I don't like wasting my time on fools, let's just pretend you won, okay?

    Hooray!! :D

Any chance of changing your mind or having a logical rational discussion goes whoosh out the window when someone starts saying things like the gender pay gap doesn't exist. That's just retarded. It's not a proven myth, it's a proven truth, you snotface twatbag.

But it's okay, don't worry about that, because you won, remember? Yay!

    Idiot

  • @gingergiblet Depends on the kind of sick joke you're telling, and it depends on the kinds of friends you have. If you've got friends that don't get you, then it's maybe time to get new friends.

You seem like you're in high school, or something, with a very limited social group...

  • @beckyinnam

    No, actually, no.

I am 20, I'm on an access course at University and have worked three jobs since I left school. I've had a fair bit of life experience for someone my age.

I have met a lot of people.

  • Oh, 20!? Well, you must be a fountain of knowledge on human experience! Instead of being in school, you're two years out of it. I guess I was waaay off.

God DAMN, people like you are so frustrating. Sense of humour is also not something you can assign to either sex. That's obvious.

Stupid people are so boring. I'm done here.

  • I'm not trying to 'win', just trying to make my point known. If I thought I was a fountain of human experience, I wouldn't still be setting out to learn would I?

The wage gap is a myth, it's a proven fact, based on lifestyle choices, not 'oppression'.

I'm not a stupid person, you know that.

Humour comes from testosterone, proven. Men are known to make better comedians, obvious. You didn't answer my question?

  • @gingergiblet The wage gap isn't a myth. Whoever told you that was not telling the truth. Humour does not come from testosterone, you fool. Whoever told you that wanted to see what you would believe. And men are not "known" to make better comedians, they've simply had more opportunities to. It's absolutely not "obvious"; your opinion is subjective and presenting it as objective fact is retarded.

    Be quiet now, child.

  • The wage gap is a myth, fucking google it.

Studies have shown more 'aggressive' types of humour comes from testosterone (and all great comedians are aggressive and forward, the opposite of little britain). Fucking google it.

How have men had more opportunities??? What a copout crock of shit!

  • @gingergiblet Shush now, sweetheart. It's okay to get angry, just try to get angry at the right things. Literally no-one gives a shit about your rage on the internet.

Why don't you turn that super-masculine testosterone-fuelled* humour into stand-up comedy?

*Women produce testosterone too. FUCKING GOOGLE IT!!!

  • I'm not angry sugarplum :) The 'fucking google it' line is borrowed from another great comedian called Deek Jackson. (Male)

Now be a good girl and pay attention.

Men produce much more testosterone than women :)

I have no intention to be a stand-up my darling, it's so kyoot when you ladies get all confuzed lol! xxx (how girls type)

But please, I absolutely beg you, name me five good female comedians. Women who have shaped comedy and used it to enlighten.

+ how have men had more opportunity?

  • @gingergiblet Men have had more opportunity because of the afore-mentioned oppression. And if you think that doesn't make a difference then you're even more of a fucking retard than you're coming across as

Clearly not getting the sarcasm about the stand-up. It's hardly me getting confused, more like you not getting the obvious.

Also "girls" don't type like that, idiots do.

Lucy Porter, Bethany Black, Jo Brand, Sarah Silverman, Tina Fey. Come on, tell me why they don't count *rolls eyes*

  • What oppression have women suffered in the last 50 years?!

You've had two generations to create a breed of comedians, even longer really, in fact someone stated earlier that the Edinburgh festival that the amount of female to male comedians was 60/40!

Nice list though, they've all really shaped comedy, brought thought provoking insight into our lives while remaining hilarious and edgy. Cough.

Come on, Sarah SIlverman? You're really pushing it now! That's like me using David fucking Walliams!

  • @gingergiblet Look, I'm done here. You can feel all special about that, like you've won or something, but frankly, I spend a lot of my day dealing with idiots and you are spectacularly ignorant, not to mention dull.

I knew you wouldn't go for any of the comedians I chose. Very predictable. (Sarah Silverman is nothing like David Walliams in her comedy.)

And once again, the fact that you don't think women's oppression exists in any form today proves that you are a fool. I am done with you.

  • Look, I'm not trying to feel special, I'm not trying to win. Sarah SIlverman isn't like David Walliams, but they are equal in how appalling they are. I do like Jo Brand and Tina Fey.

Sort of like men and women in general really, different, because of their biology, but equal.

You can't just call me a fool for not blindly believing women are oppressed! There is no evidence of that. If the wage gap does exist, well, roofing/building is hard labour and risky. Being a nail technician isn't...

  • @beckyinnam now pat yourself on the back.....good job Becky.

  • @beckyinnam (''girls'' don't type like that, idiots do..........call in all police......woop woop woop)

sorry i had to haha. im on ur side in this debate btw, that kids clearly a closed minded, imature, sexist lil beyatch.

  • @gingergiblet

hahahahahaaaaa r u for real??? you remind me of this guy i know. every1 hates him n he has no idea. makes stuff up (thats absolutely rediculous) to make himself seem great but ends up looking a blind fool.

  • Just to make sure I understood it right, she had an abortion and he's giving a coffin to bury the fetus? Lol. Chris Morris makes some of the most morbid stuff ever. Brilliant.

  • I think she either had a miscarraige or premature still birth - not a termination. The husband had no idea of the 'one off' - although I could be wrong.

  • he says "i dont think i could afford that much again anyway" which could mean the price of abortion.. not sure though..

  • He paid her for sex.

  • crossed my mind too.. dunno..

  • There was another sketch where you saw couples walking in the grounds of an abortion clinic cradling tiny coffins, all smiling and enjoying the sunshine.A couple walked up to the door. She is pregnant. They see friends who walk up and say hi.The man waves goodbye to her bump as they walk in.....

  • wonderful stuff

  • For some reason my ex-girlfriend hated this sketch?

  • ok.. that's it for me...

  • How well acted is this?

    Morris you effing genius!

  • oh my jam thats quite erm, disturbing cz he has no idea what hes doing

"i dont think i could afford that much again anyway..."

is it just me thats cringing, willing him to shut up at that point?

  • I just love the way it starts off bad, and then goes downhill to the punchline.

  • He's just so pleased with his home made coffin.

  • Kevin Eldon is great. He was also good as Simon Quinlank from Richard Not Judy

  • Drink your weak lemon dink...NOW!

  • Lol the hobbiest of all hobbies.

  • *R .

  • i couldnt think of a more awkward situation to be in XD

  • one of the best, never fails to amuse!

  • ah, jam, many nights left thinking.....WTF!

  • Love it, well put together, didnt make me laugh but caught me off gaurd. Personally I think awkwardness was the aim of this sketch. Its hard for something as 2d as television to have such a strong effect. Welldone.

  • This sketch hits you like a brick wall in to the face.

  • I don't think a lot of sketches where meant to be funny in a bad taste way. A lot of people I know laugh nervously.

  • Unparallelled genius.

  • hulareeis

  • I'll never understand why people kick themselves for laughing at stuff like this..if its funny, laugh! regardless of taste..humour should transcend taste, and Morris is the perfect example!

  • I love how Kevin's character is so self assured he's done the decent thing!

  • Chris Morris always shows you that when you think you're fucked up, you haven't met him. This was painful to watch, and I'm kicking myself for laughing.

  • Very funny, very disturbing!

  • Incredible.

  • Why can´t Yanks spell 'hilarious'?

  • Brits are Yanks?

  • OMG LOL the most sicking thing ever!!! I maybe watching this ages ago!

  • Fucking beautiful! "I don't think I could afford that much again, anyway". Priceless.

  • I felt very sick at myself for laughing at this. I know it gets said all the time about Chris Morris but the man is a total genius. If it were possible to give something 6 stars once a year this is what would get mine. Godlike writing.
