I have to say that I've been pretty unimpressed with the sounds I hear from all the MD demos... yet the Sequencer and other functionality of the MD is what interests me.
The machinedrum looks ace. Fun to play with and i'm getting one thats all there is to it. I just need to rob a few old grannies first so i can get the money together

The MachineDrum sounds good enough, but the functionality is what really clinches it for most users. People love working with them.

The Elektron wins hands down in popularity and ease of use. It sounds really good too.
Nothing sounds better than the Spectralis, but its interface leaves many users baffled.
