I notice something when i updated bootcamp drivers or the nvidia, the gaming got alot slower ... then i did a windows refresh update and found it went from a 5.6 to a 4.6 for gaming! did you experience anything like this?

macs are not for gaming at all, they are for media based services (and people that feel that they're cool unfortunately) the hottest macbook pro (15 inch) has a 512 9600m gt. You can get a faster pc for a 1000 less with a better GPU. My laptop cost 1050 and it has a 9800m GTS, combine that with overclocking and no macbook pro comes close.

Also, if you really want a mac just install OSX on your pc as i did. OSX recognizes my 9800m and my 1920 res. I have a macbook super pro compared to anything on the apple site.

1. Quality is all opinion, right now im at work, which means im using macs and they have problems all the time.

2. they are not in SLI, they are only used one at a time, so it doesnt matter that there are two. As shown by the terrible resolution macbooks must game on.

Keep in mind that this is the Macbook "Pro". I recommend you building your own computer. It could literally save you thousands of dollars. My custom computer cost 600 and my Macbook Pro cost 2500. Big difference there. The Macbook Pro is still a great laptop though so don't be concerned about its performance.

Whoever says Macs can't do anything is a complete ignorant. A mac is in fact a PC and macs are fine. Their just a little pricier than PC's, but I find their OS far superior than Windows from personal experience.

In terms of casual gaming, not hardcore. It's an all around good laptop with thin lines and lots of power under the hood. If you're a hardcore gaming, build your own or look into XPS, Gateway FX series, Alienware or MSI.

At the time, my desk was very small and the laptop was near the edge so there no where to put the camera other than stacking books to keep it level with laptop the best way possible. The reason that camera seems so close is because my camera seems to zoom a little too close in default, even when I'm not zooming out >.>

It helps raise the fps without but still looking good at the same time. I'm pretty sure the 9600M GT is gonna fly with today games. As seen from the screen shots, is the battery like the Macbook Air, built in? That would've been a stupid decision by Apple to make the battery irreplaceable at home.

Is RSV2 a better port than RSV1? I know that rRSV1 was a terrible port. I just wondered about this. I posted some vids of me playing RSV1 on here though it runs good on my imac.

What are the specs of your iMac? I personally haven't played RSV1 but RSV2 is great from my point. Controls are responsive, just little glitches here and there but its all good.

Lol you'll still be able to play it with no problems. You can probably max it out but the anti aliasing might kill your fps depending on what level it's on but other than that, all high settings for you =)

yeah you're right AA would kill me, but everything else would be ok I might pic it up. Was it buggy when you first installed have they been patching this game constantly?

Idk about patches. Not really, it just that at some stages, your team would get stuck by obstacles but that rarely happens. It shouldn't stop you from getting this game though.
