This video scares me. I'm going to have to get dentures soon and can't even afford them. All I can monetarily keep up with are the damn extractions. Insurance doesn't even cover them. The dental industry is a joke when you lose your teeth due to reasons beyond your control. This almost makes them not look worth the suffering. You were very courageous to post this video. Thanks for sharing.

I'm goin in for a full upper, pull one on the lower(that the Navy did a root canal on 25 years ago that has completely fallen apart) and partials for two molars on the lower right side. Your teeth look GREAT! I will be knocked out for the proceedure! I can't stand the novacane needle!!!
You should probably take them out to make sure the screws or whatever are not getting INFECTED! That would be really serious, and possibly life threatening since it's so close to your brain, or whatever is left of it. =) I joke.
So glad you had the courage to do this video. I just got my first denture. and its hard to adapt but looks better than the huge gaps I had. Hows it going now?

I was told yesterday that I would need upper dentures and two remove at the bottom just as yourself. So, thank you so much for posting this video diary. I don't feel alone anymore. I understand that you got temps in and waiting for your perms. So you got your temps the same day of your tooth pull. Or did you have to wait?
I feel ur pain! Im only 19 had gotten all my teeth pulled 2 1/2 weeks ago. I went today actually for a fitting for my denture. My mouth was still kind of sore, so i have to wait a couple more days for it to heal. Then I will get wear mine... when I tried mine on at the dentist today, it felt weird. I feel like I would never get use to something like that in my mouth! But ima have to try, cuz these past 3 weeks have been hell from all the pain, and not being able to eat wat I want!
@chynabrown91 How does a 19 year old have to have teeth pulled? For 15 years I smoked, chewed, drink alcohol and never went to dentist for check ups. oh, and hardly brushed my teeth. A few cavities sure. finally went to dentist
@upittyup well I inherited a dental disease from my dad, its basically when your teeth has no enamel... but I brushed my teeth everyday and did go to the dentist because of it.. but eventually they started to break down and cause me pain. I've been insecure about my teeth all my life, because they didnt look like regular teeth. But now im 20 and can honestly say I feel alot better, and im more comfortable now with nothing in my mouth!
Just got mine today and feel great ! I was very nervous but I didn't feel a thing .. I guess I was asleep. I had all my molars out previously so I know that helped a lot with not being in so much pain. So far I have only taken Tylenol with codeine I can't talk very well ... but I know it will get better .. I need some major adjustments.

I am a HUGE baby but I honestly didn't feel anything, in fact, I fell asleep while they were working on me lol. The worst for me was the swelling afterward. But you look great, I looked AWFUL several days after getting mine. Like unrecognizable.
Congrats to you. I get mine next week. Have to get a full set of uppers also. I am shocked that you said you were awake during the surgery???!!! Not cool at all!

Thanks! Well I am allot better now! Dentures are still fitting BIG but soon I will get my perm ones! The ones I have are just my temps!
