foreigners going to third world countries get totally ripped off. I won't even invest in my own country knowing very well what dangers lurk down the road. Corruption, crime and extortion is rampant generally in these countries and unless u have cash that u can part with without remorse, DON"T DO IT.
@NinezeroPlayer my family is from panama even though that is true in most central american counties Panama isn't like that. It's cheap, beautiful, safe, and full of wonderful things to do. :)
I've watched this show a lot and am always amazed at how oblivious Americans can be to a foreign country's culture, language & economy. I recall a couple looking to rent a finished condo for "under $2,000/month" in Mexico. Are they loco?! I can rent a lovely home in Mexico for under $500/month. Those same kinds of people stay in a hotel in Puerto Vallarta for $250/night when they could rent a furnished apartment there for that same amount...for a month!
Yes, and there always seems to be a strange element of people without kids thinking of their pets as their kids(see Dr. Freud), or they are couples with several kids, seemingly unaware that the planet is overpopulated already.
Darn lady! you can install more cabinets! lol

Wow panama is so inexpensive. That house would be like $400,000 where I live.

It's a show about women wanting what they want while making their husbands and children matter the least. Sexist.
