  • Lovely sincere video

  • I fucking love ben and jerrys and pizza ummmm :) im on atkins too :P :)

  • dont restrict yourself too much! make rewards for yourself! you can do it!

  • Its just common sense stuff that we just make complicated! For us food addicts we need to adopt a more normal attitude about food....portion control, lots of water, move more, balanced eating etc. not depriving ourselves but also not bullshitting and think we can gorge 24/7 and lose. we have to also find other ays to entertain ourselves than to eat! I've been reading and getting more into crafts. Nothing crazy, just cutting portions, moving more, and, staying busy, and not being restrictive.

  • for me< really restrictive plans dont work. Ive tried atkins, raw, slim fast, low carb, low fat....I cant afford organic or jenny craig or medifast so I came up with a more balanced eating plan. If there is a party, I have 1-2 drinks, eat some fruit and drink a glass of water before i come so i wont be as hungry, have 1 piece of cake or 1 small plate of snacks and really enjoy it. I try to eat light that day and do at least 30min of cardio and I still lose wt.

  • This eating plan has been working for me, its structured and helping me learn portion control> ideally i would love to be able to cook organic and stuff but its not practical with my busy life. I am trying to set myself up to succeed and not fail. Yes frozen dinners have more sodium but I drink 2 glasses of water with each of them and watch my salt in other areas. I have low cal hot cocoa when i want something chocolate. I dunno, I just want u to succeed at losing wt. Just some tips!

  • And most of what us overweight chicks have been eating is high salt and processed, its not like i got big eating salads n baked chicken lol! Ive been eating that for 2 meals and having oatmeal or cereal with fruit for breakfast and have been losing 2-4lbs a wk, mainly because I'm eating less calories. if i go out to eat, i aks them to wrap half of it up and just savor my half-portion and have a tall glass of water with some lemon and splenda. I try to order a salad on the side to help fill me up

  • If u want a sweet treat, make urself a mug of low cal hot chocolate and drink it slowly or maybe a frozen chocolate pudding cup. I like to have a frozen dinner with a salad or veggies for 2 meals, yes it is higher in sodium but it helps me control my portions while still getting to eat pasta or pizza. I have lots of water with it. People wanna knock smart ones or lean cuisine cause of salt conten and say its processed but its better than taco bell and its good for us who are busy and on the go.

  • how about making an effort to eat normal food, mostly healthy. Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. Instead if focusing on calories, focus more on portions, like eat off smaller plate and stop eating when u feel full. Like if its a bday, have one piece of cake and really enjoy it.or if ur goin out to eat mexican, ask the waiter to wrap half before they bring it to the table, that way ur portions are smaller but u still get to eat normally. And try to have 2 glasses of water with each meal.

  • You really need to set urself up for success......by finding excuses and reasons to be healthy and lose wt. I feel like u create plans to fail vs plans to succeed. For ex, being too restrictive only makes us want to rebel. if u have an event or bday coming up, plan to eat light that day and burn cals through exercise so u cant splurge a bit. Its all about balance, not restriction. for some people really restrictive diets work, but for most of us we need a balance.

  • ok while i think fitbunnyis being insensitive and kinda harsh, i also think she does have a point about cheat days not being good for food addiction and i do have to agree that u do make alot of excuses...u have to find a way of eating that u can stick to no matter if its fathers day or ur bf bday, where u can eat normally....wt watchers is good for that. I wish u would find more reasons to be healthy/ lose wt than reasons to continue being unhealthy/overweight.

  • and u need to stop having these free for all cheat days, they just encourage u to binge and shit. anyone with any kind of addiction doesnt need free for all cheat days, it just makes the food addiction worse.

  • it seems like all u want is people to commiserate with about excuses and being big,or tell u how cute ur clothes or hair is. but u block people who tell u the truth, that u need to quit with all the excuses and stuff. I'm finding that alot of yt people trying to lose wt just want people to commiserate with and want to be told how pretty they are or whatever. You need to get real, you are morbidly obese and full of excuses.....its sad cause u have a pretty face and dress cute for a big girl.

  • I'm guessing this diet didnt work for u either....lemme guess more excuses, somebodies bday, some party, girlie time. u really need to STOP making excuses. you've been on here like 4 yrs and ur still morbidly obese, this is ridiculous. i think u lost like 60lbs at one point and basically have put most of it back on.

  • Allison where are you????? Hope everything is OK - miss your videos lots and lots!!!! Hurry back :)!!!!

  • Allison where are you. Did the government give you a co-ops mission that has taken you away from your loving fans? Well I hope not. If you did, I don't wanna know so you don't have to kill me. Please want to know how your doin cute stuff.

    Keep this going.

  • I don't think guilt and enforcing the idea that certain foods makes a fat tummy is a very positive way of looking at things. Instead, focus more attention on all the good that you did and will continue to do - and you'll have a more enjoyable journey! *Hugs* :)

  • I use to do cheat days too - once a week - I looked forward to it. But realized that I simply can't do that right now. I'm doing the "how to eat based on your genotype" and some weird things are coming out of it as far as how I look at food (will vlog tomorrow ;) ... anyway, my point is another way of looking at this might be "Not Forever Just Not Right Now." Meaning you CAN have pizza and ice-cream - one day - just Not Right Now ;). I will be rooting for you :) - lotus

  • Good luck with everything! Just keep pushing through and don't let upsets keep you down, I know I've been massively struggling with that myself

  • dude if you want to lose weight you have to be more motivated and stop making excuses

  • Alli I love you but you just keep making excuses. You need to get on plan and stay on plan. You are not in the maintenance phase so you shouldnt be having all these cheats. I really want you to succeed at your weight loss journey but you keep making excuses as to why to overeat.

  • P.S. I just watched your first video and you look awesome! Keep it up!

  • i know how you feel! i stopped eating carbs then ate some and felt horrible!!

  • allison ...i dont know if you remember me or not ...but im also a food addict and im telling you ..you are a warrior !!!!! you can do this !!!!!!! i am also a food addict so i totally get it ...but ive now lost 135 lbs ..and im keeping it off ..its not easy but its doable honey :) ...just keep fighting ....

  • Haha yea itd be great 2 wake up one day and have all the weight b gone!

  • I don't know about the 0.0 you look slimmer in your face! Sounds like you are keeping on track, a few slip ups are bound to happen!!

  • Keep it up! Many could say, you didn't lose weight because you cheated. Not me, I'm saying, even though you treated yourself, you still didn't gain any weight. Yay! I'm a food addict, too, and I have started a new journey on youtube. Health problems have increased and over the last 18 mos., I've gained 90 lbs. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I had no insurance, I left it untreated and forgot about it. That's why I gained the weight. Join me on my journey. We'll encourage each other.

  • Allison, I'm reading a really interesting book about food addiction. It is called Women, food and god by Geneen Roth. I really like it a lot. Check it out or google for more info. Love your channel : )

  • I just started my second 17 days, so far so good. I lost 8 lbs in the first round. Again all thanks to your video talking about the diet! I'm loving this diet and I really have no complaints, other then that Truvia stuff, OMG that had me on the toilet for 3 days until I figured it out.

  • Hey girl! Just out of curiosity, how much weight are you down since starting this whole journey (vlogging journey, that is)? Love your videos and your glass half full perspective!

  • Hey thanks for the vid.... I also have a food addiction so I have to stay away from my trigger foods 100%. Which for me is takeaway food. Its like a drug addict cant have drugs at all, sadly we cant not have food but try stay away from your trigger foods... :) Love ya....

  • I love your video's but PLEASE stop making excuses!! Love yourself not to sabotage your life ..You are a shining light PLEASE believe that

  • @teriswan1 I meant to type LOVE Yourself enough not to sabotage your life, I have that written on my fridge and find it helps , because it is so true!

  • @teriswan1 i love that quote! "love yourself enough not to sabotage your life"!! that's really what it boils down to - figure out why we get in our own way and figure out how we can love ourselves enough to do what's best and healthiest for our lives! thanks for that quote!

  • @TheAbbyMUA Thanks, when I heard it I felt like I finally got it, my struggle has been easier with those thoughts

    Have a GREAT life!

  • @teriswan1 I agree. I love alli but it seems like she's always making excuses as to why to eat crappy whether it be girly time or because she went out to eat. All these excuses!

  • lol 100 pounds in a week is definately doable lol. that would be wierd if that was possible. you will rock it this week, you just need to work on changing the way you look at your "cheats". good luck, you will do great

  • Maintaining is fabulous. Hey have a great week

  • Thanks for the ups. IThe texting & support has been huge. Thanks. I have to say phase 2 is harder however I'm recovering from the weekend of absolute sin. Which when you carb load the next couple days are always hell. Why don't we think of this during the throws of sin. Love the idea. However for me I love my armour so the fat belly is YES. Now the moon face & the 15 chins I could do without. So I'm going say bloat, hersey squirts, headache, & intense cravings for days to come.

  • @zurplemoon please remind me next weekend of how shitty i felt today, ok?
