How to fix in-game music of RAYMAN for ePSXe emulator

How to dix problem with sound for this game? I run it on win 7, everythings is working good except music. Any ides ?

@danneybee I didn't test this in Windows 7. Perhaps you can try again? It might be the Rayman ISO too.

I played it on Dosbox, the music isn't working ever since the starting of the intro and not even the introduction of Rayman when his hands showed up. :( Installation followed properly but still not working.

This is weird, the Jaguar version of this game has no sound on most jaguar emulators or just doesn't outright work at all...what is it with this game? does it have any special format or something for the sound effects and music? I mean, it can't be the same issue as the Jaguar version because that's on a cartridge and the PS1 version is on CD...it's weird really...

Good day ... i have a problem ... i have epsxe and Cvgs emjulators... the epsxe i tryed all configured etc and i can't play trought ubi soft logo... and cvgs play normaly but no musics ... do u know how to solve ? i have epsxe 1.6 and cvgs 1.4...

Cvgs is an diferent emulator... and its not at same folder

@MsTatakai Estou a ver que és Português/Portuguesa. :) Podes responder em Português já que sou Portuguesa. Experimenta usar o ePSXe 1.7.0 e configurar o plugin gráfico. Recomendo usares este plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.8

There's another person that is with that problem. I haven't a solution for that but I suggest you to try out a different Graphic Plugin.

Select the CUE file when you load the game, not the .img. I had the same problem and that's the solution.

But I have a diffrent problem and I cant find the solution on the web:\ I have the emulator, configured it and all that, and I get the Rayman game working, but I only get past the copyright note screen and the language select screen. When I get to the screen that says ubisoft, it just stays there, wont go on. What should I do?:(

@Hufsa87 umm if you're still having the problem, i had the same result as you when i would run it through the ISO image so i decided to try running it instead by actually mounting the image via daemon tools and i was able to play it...hope that helps!

Great tutorial, actually works. Is there any way to make this work by using the RUN ISO button instead? Cause I'm using a frontend and it can't use the RUN CDROM setting,,,

I think that with ISO only directly on the emulator won't put the music work...

Aww, man, thank you so much for this. I've been trying to work out how to do it literally for a couple of years. One question, though - I don't know if it's just my copy of the game being a bit messed up, but how did you get the program to show the Playstation logo screen when you ran the game? Mine just goes straight to the Ubisoft logo.

That's simple. Just create a shortcut for the emulator's exe file. Then, put the cursor on the shortcut and click on the mouse's right button and click on "Proprieties". On the "Shortcut" part, you will see a text box called "Destination/Destiny" (Not sure). In that text box, go to the end of the text and type:

(Space button) -slowboot

Click on ok, and next time you run your emulator, it will appear the PSX bios screen. :)
