yes, it is quite simple. The big wheel pushes back the spring, which is suddenly released as the wheel turns even more. than there are 4 small axles acting as bullets which are fired out. Originally the bullets were also controlled by the mechnism, but than the whole thing was much bigger. To fit it into the tank, I made it more simple, bullets are "controlled" by gravity only.

It is not a tank. It is a self-propelled gun. The difference being in tank gun can rotate on Z axis.
Nevertheless very nice job with building it.
