.... do you guys use scbas cuz we do and we stay low cuz its hot! the gasses and smoke will layer up moving towards the floor which goes hand in hand with the temp..... Now we tell civilians to stay low to breath....... maybe i misunderstood cool vid nonetheless

Wearing SCBAs is a part of our Standard Operating Procedures, and we wear
them throughout the fire. We are also now encouraging our firefighters to
continue on air for overhaul to reduce exposure to CO and other combustion
gasses. And staying low is always a good idea.
