This was one of the first animes I ever saw... I had just moved to my own apartment, around 3 years ago, and had gotten a computer and internet and all that a month after...

Then I watched something called "AMV Hell 3" here on youtube which had a segment of this anime in it. Looked it up and watched it.

It changed me...

The show is Chobits and I haven't seen much. But of what I have seen it's basically about a farm boy named Hideki who goes to the city so he can go to a Junior college. While there he sees people in the city have advanced computers called persacoms who look like normal ppl except for the ear things. while walking home at night one day he finds Chii who is a mysterious even more advanced persacom that has just been discarded in the trash. He takes her home and thus begins their tale.

He is just a normal guy- she's a robot for crying out loud!course she's gonna look good! the guys in here aren't like in other anime where they are unbeleivably gorgeous. i think they are good for each other...even if Hideki is a perv- that's a guy for you.
