This is such a disgrace. Ken Gardner's design for rebuilding the twin towers was PERFECT. How the fuck they wound up with this garbage is beyond me, especially considering how much support it had.

Would any of you be afraid to go to the top of the new Freedom Tower when it is finished? Many of my friends say they would never even go near it. I might take a ride to the top out of curiosity, but I would not want to spend much time up there. I'm sure many people will not want to work there, either.

I hate the people who did that to the World Trade Center, we all are. It's sad seeing both towers just fall like that... But it's good that we're rebuilding, only if they could make 2 freedom towers instead of one, but we will stand strong anyways. I'm 13, so I don't remember that day.

I was in high school when the towers fell...changed everything. Its amazing that enough time has gone by that there are people who can't remember it...but its also fantastic that you actually give a damn at age 13. Good for you, man.

lol they said that the freedom tower was designed to withstand an impact with an airbus A 380. well if this glass piece of shit can take an a380 up its ass i dont see why the WTC couldnt handle a Boeing 767 . such bullshit... WTC= inside job planes= physical damage. yes planes did crash in them but thats not what made them fall. plus other weird facts: two different towers, two different planes yet exact same end result: perfect pancake fall: controlled demolition. it was too perfect!

Terrible design idea. The greatest memorial we could give to the families and the victims of this tragedy would be to build the World Trade Center towers back in their same form. This tragedy will never be repeated. And, I know many people would return there to show the terrorists they didn't win. Building this is not the way to go. This is a cop out. Sorry, just my feelings.

Hell no, they are generic looking, so much less impressive than the twin towers were and they don't fit into the landscape at all. Not to mention that stupid ass memorial is a waste of space.
