I remember listening to this video on christian radio when it came out. It reminded me of times when I was lonely and wished I had some christian friends to hand out with. That's what I thought the video was about. But the video isn't so innocent. It reminds me of a woman entangling herself in sexual sin. I try to put myslef in her shoes to try and justify playing around in a video with a man who is not my husband and I just can't justify it. It's just wrong.

Since then and even now with this song and video, it is clear that someone in management with Amy Grant felt differently . . . this video and song is my second all time favorite!
Back before this song, Amy was castigated for being a "crossover" artist.. I never once lost my love for her, and thought the criticism was misplaced. I still feel that way 20 years later. Amy Grant has made such an awesome place for herself. And while my friends were getting into Madonna, I kept with Amy Grant, and I wouldn't change a single thing, even if I could. This song will always be close to my heart.
