Another great review Dan! I really liked seeing this one. It's hard to know how these platform games are going to be but seeing you play and explain the different weapons and the varied levels really makes it seem like fun. It's funny how it has an Arabian Nights theme to the cover and title but the levels seem to have nothing to do with it though. :P

@Playongo Oh there is actually an Arabian Nights themed world but I decided not to spoil it because it's the best world in the game IMO, trying not to spoil everything these days =)

Is there any advantage to the CD version? Since it doesn't seem to have improved music.

@shaurz for the most part...no, not really. The games are basically identical other than cutscenes at the beginning and end of the game. Personal preference really.

@shaurz Yes I am, I'm sure I have the "smooth" setting on. I like the way it looks =P

and the Fraps footage looks much nicer than footage from my Dazzle IMO =)

This game looks sweet! As soon as I get around to building a PCE-to-TG16 adapter (or, failing that, buying a PC Engine) I'll have to hunt down the HuCard version!

Or maybe I'll get really lucky and find the CD attachment or a combo system on the cheap... :)

Good stuff, I watched it twice already. Yeah Doraemon sure has a long lasting following. Depends on your mood, sometimes you want the Anti-Castlevania experience. It certainly is a colorful and beautiful game that is for sure. Another fine review, thorough and very satisfying.
