@H3CTiiCxSHOTZ2 yes you can, you need a youtube downloader first and convert it to mp4, the one i use is "dvd videosoft" download the "free youtube downloader" follow instructions copy url in proper place, it downloads automaticly, then you can eather copy paste video to a usb flash drive or do what hes telling in video, make sure you convert it into mp4 format. if downloading music videos its best to get ones best for tv 720p or 1080p etc..

@luciano9009 to keep the media there, on your ps3 go the file you want to keep. Then press triangle and hit copy. That way the file will be on your PS3 permanently.

@monkey1832 vista is the worst peace of crap you can get. You are way better of with windows 7 + you can do exactly the same with windows 7.

You can say it this way: You get the design from windows vista + the performance from windows xp = Windows 7, it's best of both worlds ;=)

or you can simply, put the movie on a thumbdrive and put it on the ps3, and load it off of that....alot quicker, and you dont have to fuss around with windows sharing

you could do that, but in the long run this is better for transferring files in large amounts especially if you have 108mbps wifi or "N" wifi

@ellswortha101 How is it better in the long run may i ask? With wireless you can suffer from dropped packets and other such problems. Even so using ethernet is no where near as fast as USB in the standard house hold. As ethernet typically runs at about 100mbps where as USB is 480mbps, the only case that your argument supports is gigabit ethernet which is fairly rare at this time. Not trying to have a go, just trying to point people in the right direction and extend knowledge.
