This was one of the happiest days of my life!! I'm thankful that my parents and grandmother lived to witness their vote count. My family all voted together. We did the same for Jesse back in the 80's. My parents voted for Shirley Chisholm back in the 70's. Because of the hard work of the ones that opened the door, that last barrier has been surpassed.
