Blazblue CS is EASILY my favorite fighting game (Sorry, Eddie, Millia & Bridget, I just love Lambda more. Can you blame me?), and I HIGHLY reccomend it. Hope you enjoy! @HatsuneMikuRoxMySox Rachel's my best character, Lambda coming second, and Litchi 3rd. Unless I have an arcade stick, I'll suck with Carl. I didn't buy Platinum yet, but I played as her in the arcades and she's really interesting. Tsubaki's my worst character, but I'm still very good with her, mainly because she has a lot of variety in her gameplay. I suck with easy to use characters, such as Ragna, Jin, Tager, and Hazama. Tsubaki's easy too, but has many combinations, making her hard to master.

The story is mental, so unless you're heavily into anime and stuff, I wouldn't bother playing that, but the sense of reward you get from pulling off a combo and learning one in this game is great, and they're always patching new versions, so you never run out of things to learn. You won't regret buying this.

This is more of a response to the conversation in whole, but there are also many things in Japanese that just can't quite be said in English that are very fundamental to the character or story, not to mention just cool. Hakumen and Bang are good examples. Also, I think that English VAs still have yet to grasp the art of a cat-person dialogue. Taokaka is way better in Japanese, IMO. (They're both annoying, but ones at least accurate).

So there was no need for the same combo or for your comment.

@KissChad I don't like that people blam the original voice-overs, whether you prefer English or not. However, considering how lazy and bland English voice overs usually are, especially in a game like this, I really like to see how well both sides did on their voice acting!

Also, BlazBlue has a lot of very entertaining and interesting dialogue, I think that one would be missing out not to at least try out the English VAs, even if you switch to Japanese later.

However, I think it's fair to say that there are plenty more who too quickly discount the original voice actors too. Also, up until relatively recently, English voice acting has been pretty cheap. I am very happy with how thorough and good a job Arc System has done with this game, voice overs and all.

In case you aren't: Basically, BB is a much faster and more combo oriented game,

and it doesn't require as much skill to pull off flashy combos,

this also makes the game a more offensive one in comparison to SF's often defensive play.

@CrimsonMoonM Well it is faster, but not that much. SF4 seems much slower due to the poke block string tactics, but the animations and movement speeds (on average) are comparable.

I found KoF to be fluid, but not as robust. Capcom vs. SNK though -- amazing shit! Rivalled MvC2 for sure. Darkstalkers was nice too (Capcom is successful with any fighter), but, I prefer the VS. games that have Darkstalker characters.

I love this dude's Ragna. He must practice a lot with him. There was one combo he simply could not have finished if he hadn't canceled one of his moves into another one. It just wouldn't have worked out the same way. That's practice and altering your shit on the fly.

I have been hearing that Ragna has gotten a bit overpowered, and the more and more videos I see i'm starting to agree. Obviously the players in this video are very skilled, and that factors in, but it seems that that new air move could be abused heavily. Ragna was already pretty damn good in Calamity Trigger so I don't understand why he got buffed, while Rachel got nerfed to nothing when she was fine.I mean, Rachel was powerful an all, but not over powered, I think they went to far
