es gibt wirklich nix besseres als mit 150 und schneller über die autobahn zu fahren obwohl ich angst hab die kontrolle zu verlieren nimm ich immer die autobahn ( auch wenn der längere weg ist ^^)

The speed that's advised on the Autobahn is around 80mph.

If you go faster, and you crash, the ensurance can refuse to pay for the dmg you caused.

I'm confused about why your steering wheel is on the right side of the car. I lived in Germany for several years when I was younger and I don't recall the cars being built that way. I know it is standard practice in the UK (because they drive on the left side) but not in Germany so please explain? Thanks!

@ladyshkspre We bought the car in England which is where we started the rally. We then drove it all the way from England to Mongolia as part of the Mongol Rally.

You were all used to driving at 55mph for too long in the States! Believe it or not (on the UK's crowded roads) but AVERAGE motorway speeds are higher in the UK (with fewr accidents) than in Germany. Everyone cruises at 100mph whenever possible in the fast lane...

haha, well Im living in Germany... and by the way... it arent illigal to drive slowly on the autobahn but... its a bad idea in my mind cause of some realy fast driving cars.

Mutch parts of the german autobahn had speedlimets and if they have a free top speed, there are mostly 3 "roadlines" (<--- I dont know the translation) and not like in this video just 2.

I realy love to drive fast, its amazing!

In my mind the most of the german drivers know the risk and drive adjusted to the traffic.

@147hannes Well, you aren't allowed to enter an autobahn if your vehicle can't do at least 60 km/h. And while it's not per se illegal to drive slower than that (often you're forced to: e.g. traffic jam, bad weather) it is considered a misdemeanor (depending on the situation: obstruction of others, reckless driving, etc.) if you drive slowly in spite of good conditions; under which, assuming no local signs, the recommended target velocity for cars is 130 km/h.

Meine olle Vespa 125 lief nur 70 laut Papiere und durfte auch auf die Bahn.

und sie müssen 80 kmh schnell fahren können.

@c5mattes92 Das war eine einfache Frage mit dem Schild und wenn du drei Versuche brauchst um einen normalen Satz ohne Fehler zu schreiben solltest du vieleicht besser in der Schule aufpassen und nicht so frech werden ;)

Verkehrszeichen 330 ist das rechteckige blaue Ding mit der Autobahnbrücke drauf, Mann !!! Man findet es in der Regel am Beginn einer Autobahn. Google doch einfach mal diesem Verkehrszeichen und dessen Bedeutung - da steht dann min. 60 !!!! km/h. Nix mit 80.

if you have a good car its no problem to drive faster than 80 mph. i drove with a mercedes e-class 210kmh and it felt like normal speed, but another time i drove 185 with one of that dinky vans ;D (VW T5) and it felt like flying... but germany is the only country where you can realy use a fast car.

Some trucks with trailer are even slower driving uphill.
