Hi there. I was wondering if it is possible to play music (mp3's) through the USB connection using a standard USB stick plugged in (but NOT an Ipod.) Is this possible? I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know...
Never Max the volume on receivers at most I go to 90% full volume. People in my fraternity would constantly max volume the receiever in out bar room for parties and it always would end up on the receiver cutting off going into protect mode. Even at 90-95% full volume the thing needed a fan blowing on it to cool it off while running for 3 hours straight at max volume
@AWarlordsView It's been wonderful. Besides the one time that it shut off the amp to protect itself, haven't had a single problem with it. I could ask for more equalizer/calibration options but this is a great receiver!
I've never cranked my RCA reciver over 60 becauese everything is so loud. I once caught a speaker on fire when watching pearl Harbor! :D I threw them away and bought a new pair of speakers! :D
@bowtie350vette safety's kicked in to protect the amp from overvolting. I think it was too hot and I was turning up the volume too quickly or something like that.
@TheAtiBoy It is amazing compared to all the home theater in a box setups that people buy. I've listened to way to many of those and they absolutely suck. Even though this is a budget audiophile setup, it is still entry-level audiophile and sounds sick!
hahaha he shit himself, when it turned off ahahaha

So why did the speakers cut off? Was it the receiver that could not take it?
