  • All the note elements (freezes, rolls, lifts, mines, using 2 3 or 4 notes instead of 1) seem to be used completely at random. That is, if you turned off everything except basic notes the chart would still express just as much about the song.

  • Ya it is random. I'm no StepMania Player and I just made the simfile based on Beat-Up Mode's note :D
