Why did they show a clip of a crop circle? That's got nothing what-so-ever to do with nuclear facilities, and there is no evidence that crop circles have anything to do with UFOs at all (it's all out-of-control speculation). The phenomenon of UFOs affecting nuclear facilities is real enough to bring a lot of officials out into the open about the security problem. We don't know what they are, only that it's a concern.

This would also explain, why the U.S. government largely switched to Submarines to launch warheads. It would make it harder to follow, and track them, UFO's or adversaries. If UFOs did disable our missile silos, that would have led the Pentagon to realize the missile silos vulnerablility and lead to the Submarines taking the lead role.
