  • That is sick. how do i get mine like this?!

  • That is sick.

  • Beautiful tank! Do you use CO2? or fertilizer? What type of plant is the short one that almost everywhere in the tank?

  • damn that tank could fit my alligator gar hahahaha but yea nice tank though...

  • Your tank is gorgeous, I love the natural look to it, good job. I hope to get my 20g looking this nice.

  • wowow, nice tank...how many watts of your light?

  • @d2jsp911 2 x 24 watts(48) T5 HO

  • @charliechoo how do you clean out the fish poop?? I've recently become "fish man" at our bar and have to take care of 3 tanks. One tank is similar to this one and I don't know what I should do to as far as using the "vacuum". How do I get the poop out without messing up the plants?? Help would be appreciated.

  • @Sahadi420

Do it very gently, don't push the plants around much. If the vacumn can't touch the floor at all, like with a carpet, don't bother. The plants will devour the poop. Just regular water changes will do.

  • @Dontelai yea i got it, thanks for the reply. And since I have your attention....is there any way to detect if the poop is becoming too much???

  • @Sahadi420

If the ammonia level is too high.

Then just do some more water changes.

  • what kind of filter do u have in there?

  • @h2opolo131 Eheim classic 2213

  • up and down i mean

  • great tank :P how what are the measurements of your tank?

  • this would look almost magical with 2 dozens of neon tetra dont u think?

  • I love this tank.

  • what is the best fish food for bolivian rams?

  • @2siq4u a cichlid flake with low moisture content is fine. but they also like brine shrimp and mosquito larvae for lives

  • hey where did you find a stand for your 20 gallon long?

  • it is really pretty, I have a very green tank also, but I have tropical, Glo-Fish which don't light up, but they are really bright NEON colors! i think some glo-fish would look amazing in there... I highly suggest you get some! They would look beautiful in there, and you could pick them out really easily!

Nice job on maintaining your awesome tank!!!

    :)

  • @apsanders8

You do realize that "Glo-Fish" are stuck with a needle at the farm they are raised at and injected with coloring dye. This kills a large majority of the fish they inject and the ones that live are going to live a shortened lifespan.

I'm not a peta freak or anything, but some people don't know where they come from. I prefer natural fish over dyed fish.

  • No they arent they are gentically engineerd to be neon colors. Zebra danios with a gentic mutation = glo fish

  • shit tht tank looks great

  • Nice tank! Witch kind of plants are the low ones in the middle and left side?

  • such a beautiful tank! Some driftwood would look gorgeous in there!

  • What fish are those bolivian Rams?

  • now those are happy fish lol!

  • this is awesome. you have a white light?

  • pls. tell me what kind of filter are you using. thanks

  • how many watts would you need in a 55 gallon, for good plant growth ??

  • Usual rule of thumb is 2 - 3 Watts per Gallon

  • depends on what kind of light you have. the watt per gallon rule generally applies to standard fluorescent (T12) lighting, but this rule of thumb changes at different types of lighting such as T5.

  • oscars will dig up all the plants. trust me.

  • Very sweet.

  • Thanks all for your kind comments.

Ipuig the fixture is a retro fit

Lilman- the substrate is a mixture of eco complete & regular black gravel

  • awesome tank it is quite hard to find good planted tanks for 20 gallons on here, but yours is definitly one of them, what substrate are you using?

  • what is on the bottom
