  • really cool !

  • Thanks :-)

  • i love it

    i sing to it

and you look hot playing it

  • That helps me a lot :-)

    Thanks very much.

  • were the vocal?

  • It's only KARAOKE

    Let's sing along.

  • Cool, It should be better on ''slowdown''.

  • Next time I'll try harder, thanks.

  • Turn your light on sir

  • just because this song is called "BLIND"

    :-)

  • awright, 2 or 3 days from now, I'm already going to buy it. $110 only, unit+foor controller. Have I told you that its only 2nd hand. ^_________^

  • Don't forget to check everything as much as you can (eg. knob, switch),

    it's an old gear.

    Have fun.

  • I heard that this gear is frustratingly hard to manipulate. do you know the link of the manual of the gsp2101 studio tube here in the net? What I can only find is the artist version.

  • Yes, it's hard to edit

    so complicated with million parameters

About Studio tube VS Artist Version

If I'm not wrong, they both use same hardware & firmware

the only difference between them is thier factory presets.

so you can use the artist version's manual

I only have that manual like you.

  • how about this:

    guitar-->gsp2101-->XLR output(active speaker compensator on)-->normal input(amp)

    IS IT POSSIBLE? ^__^

  • yes, you can try it

but you will get bad sound

(DIRTY with too much gain & noise)

due to simulate speaker plus real speaker effect.

  • listened to it already, sounds so fucking awesome, by the way..you sure that that is the studio tube version? because the one i'm going to buy is the studio tube, NOT the artist version..

  • Sure,

when I bought it, the artist version didn't launch yet.

  • awright..if you said so..

    thanks by the way

  • one thing I forgot to tell you for that clip's info

for direct studio recording without Amp+Mic,

you MUST use balanced XLR output with speaker compensator ON

    DON'T use normal output.

  • I only use a 20 watt practice amplifier. So when I connect the FX to my amp, I must ALWAYS use XLR output and ALWAYS turn on the ACTIVE SPEAKER COMPENSATOR.

    Is that what you mean?

  • No, the best way for using GSP2101 with amp :

(GSP2101) Normal output ==> RETURN (Amp)

you shouldn't use normal input of Amp

to prevent causing double preamp effect

If your amp don't have one (RETURN)

try setting your amp as clean as possible.

  • ^

    ^

    that's because GSP2101 is a PREAMP

that's the way its tube working.

use Balance XLR with ACTIVE SPEAKER COMPENSATOR ON

only when you DON'T use any speaker

eg. connect directly to soundcard for recording.

  • alright this is how i'll do it then:

guitar--->GSP2101(front input)-->>GSP2101(normal output)-->>Amp(normal input) with the amp as clean as possible, is that it?

by the way, in your demo, what are the gears you used? I hope it is just the guitar, GSP2101 and the amp, no more mixing board..right?

  • right, try setting your amp as flat as possible.

In my audio clip I didn't use any guitar amp.

only GTR==> GSP2101(XLR with ACTIVE SPEAKER COMPENSATOR ON)==> Audio Interface(Soundcard)

    for Direct recording

ACTIVE SPEAKER COMPENSATOR is used for simulate sound of GTR Amp. with Mic.

Make it easier for home studio recording, isn't it?

  • thank you so FUCKING MUCH man...

    much appreciated! ^_______^

  • awright...thanks man..

  • I sent the link via Youtube message,

    check your inbox.

  • can you give me a short demo of its metal sounds(eg heavy sustain, grunge) PLEASE.....

  • OK, just wait

    I will make it tonight.

  • do you think its worth it? the price is about $110 both the unit and the foot controller...its not Artist...it is a Studio Tube...just like yours...

  • Not the best for metal sound

but if the price is only $110 with FC

    I think it worths.

PS. I like its reverb a lot,

cannot find something like that in other gears of mine.

  • can you give me a demo of the heavy sustain and grunge of the digitech gsp2101? its because i'm going to buy a digitech gsp 2101 that is why i'm gathering infos about it...if you haven't noticed..^_^

  • OK, I will make a short audio clip (no video) for you.

    just wait for 2-3 days

I will send URL to you via youtube message

  • are you using the digitech gsp 2101 mainly on this video? man..if you could just make a video review about your digitech gsp 2101...i would really appreciate it very very much...^_^...

  • This song use GSP2101 in left channel (crunch + flanger sound) only

[ intro riff, added line in hook, interlude riff ]

right channel (more metal sound) use V-Amp pro.

choose "watch in high quality" to listen in stereo L+R

I cannot make a demonstration video.

you can listen in "I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face" (clean sound + reverb)

and may be in my new video next time, thank you.

  • hey man, are you using the digitech control one foot controller for the digitech gsp? what is its dimensions in inches? can you measure it for me pls..^__^

  • GSP2101FC's dimension is about 665 x 160 (mmxmm)

a little smaller than FCB1010 (can use with GSP2101 too)
