I heard a story about this ad. Apparently after this ad first aired on TV people went and did the experiment, when the milkmen came to collect the milk bottles they got the s**ts because it was extremly difficult to clean the inside of the bottles. Well that what I was told.
Does anybody know if the kid in that TV ad, went on to bigger and better things such as movies or TV series?

Almost certainly true. It was a popular ad and lots would have repeated the experiment.
