Eric all i gota say is that GMC is BAD ASS..i had a one ton duely long ago and had a 6" lift and BFG ALLTERAINS and 383 stroker and it was almost unstopable too...nice rig man!!

Just curious as I do not know much about tow trucks and stuff, but why didn't you just pull him out from a long ways away so you didn't have to risk getting yourself stuck? I assume it is because you had to lift the rear of the truck up some. So if that is the case, why didn't you lift it, pull it out a few feet, unhook, get yourself out and then just winch it?
