Alliance get it from a quest (or quest chain, can't remember) in Auberdine, and horde from Thunderbluff/Barrens.

I done it so long ago, and I don't even play anymore, so it's hard to help :P

I went through the Scryer bridge on a friend's druid, don't know if it still works. Pink and white blocks near BT are interesting though :P

Those pink and white blocks are barriors. Everything above them is an invisable wall.. i guess blizzard puts them under the maps so people dont see them. [ I played a PS and used them somewhat ]

No, just classes that can get "to" their target. You can charge on your pet with eyes of the beast though. Kinda shit though :P
