If it doesn't hurt you, then stop fucking worrying about it. People are going to do things that piss you off. You should go back into your little bubble and turn off your television and computer.
so what? people wanna explore the old train station? let them. its historical. if the city doesnt want ppl tresspassing then board it up better and put up better fencing.
mayor criminal? pff. who gives a fuck what he wants. put some guys there if you dont want people in there. the only way a power like detroit could end up being such a pussy city is by coruption.
I got arrested there before by border patrol; they had SMG and lots of them showed up. it was crazy. I wouldn't of gotten arrested, we were there for i while, we were in the roof chilling and we were leaving got all the way down from the roof and we were leaving from the underground when we just saw a bright blue light looking around we three ran i fell got up fast we got split up, I lost evryone for a while like 10 minutes then came out they were arrested and i didn't want to leave them there.
@MichaelCasanovaMusic That's the way I feel about it. the building is dangerous and you have to be careful. Open elevator shafts, rotted and rusted out stairs are only a few of the dangers. If they really wanted to keep people out of there they could. Since it would cost money they don't. Something as simple as just taking out the first two floors stairs would make 90 % of the building inaccessible.
@voyfan99 Urbex is a lame, sorry ass pop culture term that I truly hate. I started doing this type of activity in 1978. We called it what it is, Trespassing. UER's annoy the crap out of me.
@Soldat251 Yes it is. It's a lot of douche baggery coupled with an inflated sense of I'm better then you. I love watching the back back wearing idiots get busted by the cops. we sat up there one day and saw at least 8 people get stopped.
heh people are up there almost every day. Hell I've up there, we stayed the night on the roof of the Broderick and watched the sunrise from the top of the Book Tower. Detroit is wide open.
who the fuck cares

@MichaelCasanovaMusic I agree. the guy that's owns it is actually putting new windows and new roofs on it. Not sure what his angle is.

It's called Urbex. We do it for the thrill, and it's a way of life.
