I absolutely loooove all these learning toys, definitely prefer this type of stuff over all the other overly popular stuff...my sons name is jayden (jaiden is how we spell it) and he's two as well....cool lol
just an FYI in case you didn't already know...TJ Maxx usually has a lot of Melissa & Doug stuff :) I have gotten quite a few educational things for my classroom there! :)
@anaidrav80 We got them at some store in Amish country when we went on a mini vacation so I am not sure where u can get them. I don't even remember the brand name.
you can use those bears for patterns when he gets older as well. all of these toys you would see in a preschool. great for fine motor. it's good to see jayden getting exposure to them early!
@smleblanc1 aww no I didn't mean to make u feel like that! Kids can learn heaps and heaps with out a bunch of learning toys. Jayden just enjoys them so much and gets so much out of them. They definitely aren't necessary to teach your child : )
where did you get the 4 sets of flash cards with the animals on them?(my first) Also we love melissa and doug at our house as well. Great toy collection.
where did you get the bears ? calyndra would love to get those :)all the toys are great , where did you get the shape pegs too ? and the touch and feel cards ?
@CandyandTy We got the touch and feel cards at Barnes and Nobles, We got the sorting bears at a teacher/educational store, and the shape pegs at toys r us
when did you first start teaching him letters, shapes, counting, pretty much all this stuff also for christmas did you sort of hint that educational toys were what he would want i find people always want to get children the loudest most annoying toys when they could find a great puzzle or something that will help with imagination.
@kanD1987 UM I am not sure exactly when we first started. We have been doing a little here and there ever since he turned a year old but he didn't really show much interest until he was about 18 months and then his recognition and memorization really started to pick up at about 20 months. Most of his stuff he got was from either us or Thomas' parents. And Thomas' mom is a school teacher so she likes educational stuff as well : )
GREAT VIDEO.... I know the bear one was a gift but do u happen to kno were can i get it and where can i get most of the toys please and thank you .....GOD BLESS
@julissa905 Yea it was an x-mas gift but we bought it for him : ) We got it at a teacher/educational store. So I am sure u can find it at those kind of stores. It's called baby bear sorting set. I am sure u can order it online too. Which other one do u want to know about?
@julissa905 None of the stuff I showed was from online. It was all mostly bought from Toys r us, Barnes and Nobles, or this school/teacher supply store. But I am sure u can buy everything online. Melissa and Doug stuff have their own website for example.
I love this video! I just went nuts on amazon with melissa and doug stuff! :)
