.just saw the last video in TruthSurge's series: Excavating the empty tomb[beyond a reasonable doubt) about the historical accuracy of the bible stories. its great! maybe you should have him check them out. honestly i have no understanding on how any grown person can believe stories w/o facts. I started doubting religious indoctrination at the age of 8 yrs when i noticed that nothing that was being told to me had any true relevance in the world around me, now 40 yrs later it's CRYSTAL CLEAR.
The key thing is, is that is it god talking to you or is it your ego, or conscious. I ask my self that when I pray every so often. And I also share the same believe that it is/or seems fictional bc its simply hard to believe. Either way when things are drastically not going ones way they go to the almighty, faultless, god bc in their head thats the last option that gives them comfort and hope without a doubt. I am surly guilty of this when in times of sorrow or desperation. I pray to god-
