He would never be back. That's the point. And jason is much more powerfull, technic and talented, rock looking than the old looking boris. It's so obvious...of course maybe not in that song.So..live with reality, or keep on complaigning in vain..

dear sylvainronat: 1) i know he is never coming back!: that`s a pity! 2) i have been listening to cure for over 29 years and belive me, Boris is SO MUCH better drummer; power? technic? talent?: that´s Boris!; in fact, Jason called him to play some pieces for the "greatest hits" acoustics, ´cos he is too insecure 3)so, i rather listen to old cure records and complaigning 4)nice guitar playing of yours! i own a telecaster too! 5)vive la France! à la prochaine!...
This is a very beautiful song, may eventually be viewed as one of their best ever. I had goosebumps watching them open the show with this in Charlotte on June 16!! Can't wait to hear the studio version, hopefully it's slow like this one.
saw the cure at bank atlantic in fla, they didnt play this songs, but it sounds killer. robert is a genius. so far the new album seems flawless. btw the concert was outragous, they were off the hook good.
Underneath the Sky and A Boy I Never Knew are the only nice songs from the coming album so far. I fear this album will be as bad as Wild Mood Swing, even worse as the b-sides sound bad too so far. Don't you think?
Yes. Sounds good. I´d like to hear Jason drumset with reverb and more powerful sound. Jason should contact Boris Williams´ drumtech or Boris himself to assist him with this.
This song will become legendary ! Check out the infamous 'Oh Hell Yeah!' Mix ... apart from the hilarious intro with a rightly ecstatic fan screaming 'Oh Hell Yeah!' twice in succession followed by a 'Oh My God !', the main body is slightly quicker but with a subdued final chorus....it will be interesting to see what the album version will be like...hopefully along the lines of a Disintegration-like production....anyway check out the Oh Hell Yeah! Mix
This is such a nice song! I would listen to it again and again! After so many years, finally some sounds and some lyrics that feel me with emotions...
i was there!!! it was magical! : D they did not disappoint. played every song you'd want them to play (including 4 songs from boys don't cry) and sounded amazing
I SAW THEM TONIGHT! i waited for 17 years, i'm 25 now so it has been a while and honestly it was the best show i have EVER been too. rob and simon and crew where smokin hott. love it, love it, love it!!
Oh my God, thank you for this. I waited 15 years for the chance to see them in concert. The tears fell from my eyes the very moment the song began. I was way up in the third terrece section just wishing I had a closer view of his glorious face and work. Thank you so much for very much for posting this. This was the night of my life. This beautiful song brings chills of joy to my heart as the hair on my body begins to rise.
Great thanks to the Cure.Proud to be a Cure fan.Nobody but the Cure can put on a more perfect show. They played everything we wanted to here and more to perfection.Wow what a great night!!!

It's the best Cure's song (with "The Promise") since 1996!
Thank you for sharing it!
Raphdesneiges 3 years ago
The best song since 1996 is Truth, Goodness and Beauty! And they have never played it live! Why? Why? Why?
dnccnd 3 years ago 2
TGAB is a great song. Why didn't they include it on "The Cure" album? But I prefer "The Promise" ;-)
Raphdesneiges 3 years ago
I totally agree with you! It´s the best of the "new" Cure, after Porl and Boris departed.
Hope they play it live in the new tour.
