R31- Nice Car! No Question that your Center/Carrier bearing has failed.
Check out my Nissan Titan failed carrier bearing video, and New Carrier bearing installed and see the difference for your self @ Dustang84 - videos. Nissan mechanics told me that they couldn't find any problems with my truck for years. I finally found it myself and repaired it myself. That's why I wanted to put it on Youtube so others could solve their problems. Check it out! thanks, Dustang84
If you're feeling vibrations at certain speeds or hear clunking noises, that could very well be the reason. Either way it doesn't look good lol. Oh, and my '83 Celica has a 2 piece drive shaft so yes, cars have them too >.>
AHAHHAHA , that centre bearing is pretty fucked, but i have a tailshaft out back where the shaft has fuill centre movement, no bars. and the rest of the tail shaft is new r31 veem shaft, or like 7months, how could you thrash a centre bearing so fast, maybe the guys rb26 had something to do with it
its fine nothing wrong with it my truck is worse its a 1980 chevy 2500 my drive shaft moves like 4inches the rubber isnt even attached to the bearing any more yours is its supposed to be bouncy to adsorb road shock and stuff what kind of truck is this any way your showing here?
whats that supposed to mean? i aint never seen a car witha two piece drive shaft plus cars now days are front wheel drive hell aint no budy make cars or trucks no more they stopped making them in 99 every thing is plastic shit now
doesnt matter, I am just saying because of the single minded nature of your comments & your inability to spell or string together a coherent sentence or two, I've correctly identified your country of origin.
you could be from China, but I'm pretty sure Calallen, Texas isn't in China.

I am insinuating that you are befitting of the American stereotype.
the vehicle is a 1988 Nissan Skyline.
RWD, Fuel injected, 3 Litre SOHC inline 6cyl, SEDAN.
produced in Australia.
