@drobbah Christianity does not discriminate on "race" but people do. There was an Arab slave trade that countered the European slave trade and it was just as devastating as the prior. The main concern is deconstructing the racialization of Christianity which is an issue that many African-Americans like myself must come to address. Read about the Kingdom of Axum (or Aksum), and Falashas and progress into more scholarly readings so you can see just how deep Judeo-Christianity runs deep in Africa.

In Judaism, slavery was permitted but not in the Western "color of your skin" ordeal. Any one could be a slave and sometimes people put themselves into slavery to earn a living.
